Medogsfat: . Kevin, I'm not sure of the exact white but will it really matter when they are on the wall or is that a daft thing to say to an enthusiast? The BMW colour was indeed the silver as uswed on the Avant. Chris. Do Bears S**t in the woods??

Thinking about it I'd be amazed if it were different to the white of BS5500 etc.

joeyboygolf: The previous post are all very interesting but totally miss the point of the original post. My answer to the original question is no! I can't hear any difference between beosound 4 and beosound 9000 when connected to the same speakers and playing the same cd. I've just been testing these same two items prior to sale connected to

There are two ways to handle this, neither of which is acceptable to the Senior management and which one you pick depends on the ramifications of missing the launch date, both financial and PR wise. The first is to launch anyway while continuing to fix the problems and put up with early warranty issues, the second is to dealy until everything is fixed

I spent a little time (only about half an hour) comparing them at my dealers several weeks ago. Both were against a wall (the BL3's were on floor stands), both were only ~6 feet apart and I listened to unfamiliar material at a distance of 8-10feet. My preference was for the BL8000's both audibly and visually. They just seemed to have more detail
