Having said that, I agree with John that the 6500/7000 is not as good as the 4400 etc.

I actually use a Beomaster 8000 with my M100s at present. Wonderful speakers. I have used a Beomaster 7000 to drive them though and they are still fine. I'll pull down either the 7000 or a 5500 sometime this weekend and give it a try - I'll report back!

They will be absolutely fine. The Beomaster 7000 has what I would regard as a 55W per channel amplifier. The problem with speakers will usually be driving them with an inadequate amplifier rather than too powerful a one. I run my Beomaster 4400 through BBC LS3/5As which are supposed to be powered with amplifiers of no more than 25W! Never had a problem
