Agree - at normal listening, you will be lucky to get to 10W! The benefits of a really good amplifier is the ability to deal with the dynamics of the music and peak power and it is here that the 4400 and 8000 excel. However the 6500 has other advantages so just enjoy the music.

Tend to agree. My daughter is loved and hugged every day. Christmas is a good excuse to buy her some presents and to spend time together as a family but every day is important. I would always have the BC2 set to option 0 as the rest of the system seems to operate better but I do understand why you do things the way you are. I have a Wii attached to my AV9000 via a AV2 expander and have it attached to the AV2 socket and set to V.Aux. works fine as do the DVD-R/Freeview box and Sky box. I control the DVD-R using a DVD controller

What is the problem? you seem to have all the kit and though it is not the way I would do it, your set up seems fine. What doesn't it do that you want it to?

It will work fine and M100s are really worth getting. Beautifully made - the rosewood is simply glorious! Nothing wrong with the 6500 - it is derived at least in part from the Beocenter 7000 and this had a very good amplifier.

That would be wonderful! My personal collection numbers 1706 pdf files though there are more than that one site as I don't keep all the language variants. It is mainly the 70s and before where we lack items - I'll see if I can make a list up!
