Yes the AV9000 is a firm favourite with BL3000 as front and a pair of CX100 off a Cona as the rear surround speakers. Just a shame it only has one free Scart socket, unless I can find a reasonable B&O AV expander.

I think you'll find (afterI checked myself again) that the early SKY+ boxes had co-axial and the later ones only have optical. It seems I have one of each! BUT it does make a huge difference to the sound of SKY if you have the 5.1 Dolby card in the Avant, etc. Cheers

In one room I have far too much stuff, some of it set up to use and some there while other parts of the house are sorted out. I was thinking all this after I'd moved some stuff out of the room to sort a bedroom out! I love my Penta's (3 one of each mark) although I have always fancied a set of Beoloab 1's although it seems like you need a Beolab 2 to bring the bottom end out. Mind you I am partially deaf so what do I know! LOL

Why not just do a coaxial to coaxial cable??????

Its about a 5 minute job once you have the instruction list and a suitable remote control (Beo4?). It can take a couple of attempts to 'take' but relatively simple if you have the instructions. I suggest you find a tame engineer.........

My PentaLab 1's where working with the PL adaptors and an Overture with the displays working. They are being used on the back of an Avant now with the same adaptors and are still working. Maybe something else?

Hi, yes I have a 'spare' pair of these, I think its a spare pair of both parts, e.g. 4 covers, although I need to dig them out to check! They aren't mint but in very good condition. Where are you in the world? Cheers GUY
