Hello I was asked this question a year or two ago. I spoke to the Technical department at the time and they said absolutely not. Bare in mind that the I/R sensor would be connected to the BeoLink box not the first eye. I was told that you couldn't connect I/R sensors in series. Opman

I used to work in Plumbs Altrincham and to the best of my knowledge we never had BeoCentre8000/9500 hung on the wall. It was only ever displayed laying flat. Are you not mistaking it for BeoSystem3300? This unit could be wall mounted. Opman

Hello Fil Yes, The BeoVision3 32" DOES have Masterlink as standard. I think that on some of the early 28" versions it was an optional extra. The 32" version is the same chassis as the Avant and ALL avants have Masterlink. The 28" BeoVision3 is the same chassis as Bcen1. Of the current range of televisions, all have Masterlink EXCEPT

If you press the GO button in the middle of the wheel, the display will give you a message telling you why the alert lamp is flashing. In addition to the caller ID alert, it could be line busy or no contact with base. Opman

I have looked up which version of PAL you need and it is PAL I. If you select Sat then unplug the data cable from the back of the MX3500 and go into the tuning menu, from there you can select which PAL you want to use. You have to unplug the data cable so that you don't start tuning the TV in the main room. Remember to plug it back in when you have

The reason that you are not getting audio through the MX3500 is that you have selected the wrong version of PAL in the tuning menu. I seem to recall that there are other options available. Pal I and Pal BG. It is a while since I last tuned one in and I can't remember which one it should be, but if you try changing it to one or the other one will

I have had experience of the sledge that holds the door becoming disengaged. If you open the door and then push it to the left, it will click back into place. I would try this with caution in case it is not the cause of the problem. I have seen two do this and a slight push made them work again. Opman

I bought a 5 pin din gender changer from Maplins and removed pins 6 & 7 from the din plug as I didn't need the data function. It works a treat. Here is a link to their website page with this item. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=1094&criteria=%205%20pin%20din%20gender%20%20changer&doy=11m2 Opman

Sorry to hijack this thread but the question is related. I have a pair of Lab8000 bases that have seen better days. They are badly scuffed and one has a scratch across the top. Does anyone know if there is a way of treating them? I would like to restore them to something like there original condition. Thanks Opman

When BeoLab1 and BeoLab2 were launched they were shipped with mains cables that had a label warning that the mains leads should only be used with those products as the fuse fitted inside the plug was higher than 3amp. From my experience, once speakers started getting swapped around the showroom, BeoLab2's blew fuses if they were connected with standard
