  • Re: Effect of Beolab 2 on Beolab 6000

Hmmm... maybe I should buy one. I was going to get a KEF or B&W because the BL2 is sort of overpriced but then I would have the problem of not being able to filter... How would it work if you have a BV7 mk3 and everything is plugged into the TV? Would the system automatically do the filtering?

  • Re: remove the fabric of a BL6000

Slide it upwards and then forwards. Be careful though since some of the clips are plastic.

I thought it didn't filter anything out (as in, there's no active crossover that will cut the low end from the BL6000s).

All good info, thanks. The move would be in about a year. I think my contract will be up in March at the latest and then I'll just bum around for the summer and move after the next Oktoberfest. I'd probably move to Sydney or Perth or Adelaide. My dad's side of the family are all from Sydney and they'd disown me if I moved to Melbourne

gridinoc: Can I dream of an phone "B&O | Apple"? Apple got the aluminium + black thingie now, it would be a good match, Imagine BeoPlayer on an future iPhone which would have Serenata-class speakers... Okay, *that* is something I'd buy. Especially if they encased it in alu. I wouldn't touch the Serenata (no features worth a damn

Are you sure that isn't 112cm? (45 inch) Last I checked, the world's biggest plasma is 103".

Okay, that's about 16,500 Euros... definitely cheaper in Germany. Maybe I'll drive to CZ where the VAT is way less. Then again, my dealer here knocks about 10% off of anything I buy. I'll definitely have to look into the frequency differences between here and Australia. But if all I want to watch, I can get on a set top box (there's

  • Re: Price for a second hand Beolab 2

Dude, Bertilh, you got robbed. That's way too much. I'll tell you what. I'll give you 1100euros for it and I'll even come and get it to save you the hassles of shipping it to me. Geez, that's a great price. I want one too.

It's all PAL isn't it? Not that I watch much TV, anyway. In fact, my TV is never on except Sundays to watch NFL which comes over my digital cable anyway. All I do otherwise is watch DVDs and listen to music. The surround part... I mean the optional decoder ( http://www.bang-olufsen.com/page.asp?id=131 ) . But good that you mention the speakers

  • Re: I broke the BS2

To this day I'll never understand why people don't just buy an iPod and be done with it. You can buy something more expensive, you can buy something that looks nicer, you can buy something from a different manufacturer if you dislike Apple, but if you do you'll buy an inferior product. That's all there is to it. This is the exact same
