I must say I'm not really surprised that BC2 is being discontinued, I think it should have been out of production for a long time: how can B&O charge more than EUR 4,000 for a DVD/radio combo that doesn't even offer HDMI output & Blu-Ray playback?? What surprises me, however, is that there is no BeoCenter 3 on the horizon...

I was not thinking of adding a 4th driver, but rather making one of the 4' drivers a real bass woofer, and the other dedicated to midrange only. Look at BeoLab 7-1: in size & volume, it is a stereo BeoLab 8000 fitting in the cabinet of a single BeoLab 8000! So I'm really certain it's quite easy for B&O to fit the electronics &

Having had both, I enjoyed them both, but as others said, the Lab 4000 sounds better than the 2500. I've always been a fan of tech specs, but in this case, believe me, there is little difference on the spec sheet, but a much wider difference when listening. The 2500 were a little revolution when launched, but the 4000 were launched later on, so

For my part, I would say that I haven't stopped buying B&O, but I stopped buying NEW B&O products, they are way too expensive, even if I earn much more money that when I discovered the brand! I now buy all my stuff on the second-hand market, BV3-32, BV7-32, BeoCenter 2 (bought with Lifestyle), and didn't even have to buy my BeoLab 3

EU regulations? Again? Seriously, they focus on the 2 w stand-by consumption of a loudspeaker but don't bother at all when plasma screens use more than 500 W in use..? Brussels must be a place as isolated from the rest of humanity as Struer can be sometimes. Going back to the topic, the main reasons for an upgrade to ICE amps in the column speakers

Looks like BeoWorld buried BV9 before B&O.. Have a look at B&O's official website, today there is a press release about AST (Adaptive Sound Technology), and they say it will first be launched in BV4, then BS3-based TVs, INCLUDING BV9 and the BV7 series.. So that means BV9 is not going away for the moment, right..?

Hi BeoWorlders, I'm looking for the service manual for BeoLab 2000, basically to open the box and see how the speakers are connected to the amps, the manuals are not on this site, and nowhere on the web..does anyone have one that could be scanned ? Many many thanks in advance !!

The quickest way to sort this out is probably to re-install BeoPort, it usually solves most of the problems, like with all apps in Windows..

Just to reply quickly to Philippe, the album navigation is possible with BMLink, you simply select " albums / all " in Itunes, and voilà! How this works , I don't know, but it works, with the left & right arrows I skip through albums, and BMLink has no GUI, it uses the Itunes interface, so there must be a solution..

I still can't make up my mind as to whether I should keep the BeoPort PC version (that I've been using for years) or shift to BM Link or Linkplayer, because both Mac softwares are very limited when it comes to Beo4 compatibility: - Linkplayer can't step through albums, and I only play NMUSIC in album mode with the left & right Beo4 arrows
