  • Re: Pictures of my new System

And it came with a Beolit 500, which was nice. Along with a Beogram 1000, which actually sounds very good indeed. If you saw me at the moment you might mistake me for the Cheshire Cat! Im rather pleased with them!

Heres the Beocord and speakers. The Beocord has a plastic cover over the control panel to keep it nice and clean. The tweeters dont work on one speaker, hopefully I can do something about that.

  • Pictures of my new System

I tried to post some pictures of my 5000 system yesterday but for some reason it didnt work. So here we go again. As can be seen its in pretty good order. This is before I have given it a thorough going over. There is some wear to the volume numbers and a bit on the tuning dial, but I can live with that. The lights on the amp dont work at the moment

  • Beolab 5000 system issues

My recently aquired 5000 system has a couple of minor issues. One is that the lights on the Amp dont light up. The little stereo one or the red power light. How do I get to the bulbs to change them? Also on the Beovox 3000 speakers, on one speaker the tweeters do not work at all. If I plug another speaker into the connection for the BV2500 then you

  • My latest toys.

As some of you may have read, earlier in the week I got my grubby little mits on a 5000 system and a couple of other bits. It was stored in a loft for a few years and was going to go in a skip until the grandson of the original owner rescued it! I bought it all untested but took the gamble that it wouldnt be too bad. • Re: Privat survey of Beolab 5000 - Beomaster 5000 producs

Ive plugged it in to see what happened. I bought it totally untested and it hadnt been used for a couple of years but was treasured until its elderly owner bought a new B&O system and stored my little lot in his loft. Sure enough it fired up fine, no crackles from any sliders or anything. First impressions are very impressive but it was only for

  • Re: MMC3 'vs MMC2

Im suprised that even an MMC2 could make Ricky Martin sound good Im still regretting selling my BG8002 a couple of years ago. I never listened to it then, but now have three record decks, none of which are as good!

  • Re: Beotime Review

Its nicely weighted with the batteries in it, it feels quite light when you first take it out of the box though. It feels slightly lighter than a Beo4. Its also very well balanced when you are using it.
