I don't know either. I guess it's a bit too new for me. I let the Beosystem 6500 handle the wakeup calls with music.

Ok. You could open the beomaster 6000. Release the 2 screws on the back, one in each side. You can open it up to service mode that way. The same as in the open positon picture.

My B&O Lows: Nearly every single B&O needed service before I could even use them. The latest was getting into thinking Beolink and an extra Beovision could fit in. I kind of thought the AV9000 was cool so I go online and normally the price is around 630£ but there was a defect one with no remote for 115£. With the service the total

The Beosystem 6000 works great with any Beovox that can handle the output of 2*60watts. Something like that. I use Beovox S80.2 and S120 mostly. At present my spare Beomaster 6000 uses Beovox CX100 which works great. You do need the 2035 remote which was optional for the Beomaster. Keep an eye on Ebay. They do turn up. They work just as great as any

Well my 2 Beovisions are still going strong. LX5500 not used much these days but it's still working great despite being from 1989. AV9000 '98 IMP version. Had the typical MX trouble with powersupply etc. Went to Struer to be serviced twice and now seems to be just as strong as the LX5500 but I do have a hard time in saying the AV9000 is the

Its 2 pictures that looks very much like Dillen's work. He might have the answers to this one.

Good idea, but what about when the stuff needs to be serviced?

I got a Beocord 5500 and it's a great player. Can't compare to a Beocord 5000 as I don't have one. Dillen has got plenty of experience with the Beomaster 8000. If it was not for him mine would properly not be working today. He got cap kits ready for you.

I'm running a Beosystem 6500 through a 1611 converter to a one of the last types of Beovision AV9000. This works great. You will need what Peter sugest. Most of the time the converter is called 1611 for short. I only have Beovox through the Beomaster and not the AV9000 so I use option 1 on both audio and video.

Quite often here in Denmark I see older B&O in thrift shops alot. Beovisions are mostly '80s and takes longer to sell but it seems to change hands with out having to stay for long. It was not to long ago I stumbled across a Beocord 5500 wich is still fully working. Is there any B&O in the thrift shops where you are located?
