Steer well clear of the early avants ... getting one cheap is not economically a sensible way forward.

My guess would be that the time that the tube starts to be troublesome, you will have no trouble in sourcing another at very sensible money ... so personally, I would not worry about that scenario. Neil

It is possible to get it overhauled with a new front cover. Not sure what the dealers charge for this service, but should think about £50. Neil

An interesting idea ... there is acres of space inside this model ... I dont see why it shouldnt be possible ... easy enough to get into and modify.
