Bingo: Very small size but it is just a matter of time before there will be big televisions in Oled :-) well of course screens will get bigger but at the moment no hope on the life, so other technologies moving on might well take over in larger screen sizes.

OLED very interesting..... it doesnt need glass and a flexible plastic substrate can be used for the display- so when production ramps up= very cheap to make in time! The problem is that at present blue organics have a full life of approx 14K hours ( plamsa is 60K even to half life and lcd much more) So disadvantage is cost, lifetime at the present

9 LEE: Flappo The Grate: bno have more to lose than most brands , certainly in the av world how on earth are they going to become competitive when everyone else's prices go down and there's go up ?? ? i'd hate to be in their shoes right now !! I don't think B&O need to be competitive with mainstream brands Flappo, i think they have

9 LEE: As a comparison, how are other high end manufacturers doing on the whole? Wether it be Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Sunseeker Powerboats, Helicopter Manufacturers, Lear Jet makers, Rolex, Cartier etc etc It's fine blaming a global economic downturn, but if the others are forging ahead we have a problem!! Anyone want to have a 'research'

What you refer to in the last paragraph is 'black crush' in an effort to improve black. one loses the detail It is very relevant that you have chosen the D9 screen to compare quality and black levels- the D9HD screen scores highly in this area, which was later lost on the

TripEnglish: Gentlemen, I agree that when you examine these things on paper, the higher number looks great. I would argue (having stood in front of them at work for 8 hours a day and then sat at home and watched one), is that increasing this particular figure is somewhat like increasing bhp in an automobile. At best it presents an oppurtunity to build

Bingo: Six months? The new Pasaonic plasma's with the much higher contrast are out now? Why does B&O wait so long?? If B&O is to be taken seriously the business model has to change. Obviously its much more profitable to offer 'outdated' panels in its products as the discounts are greater. On the new BV4 we have the 'performance
