• Re: BM5000 with Beolab Pentas?
Thanks Peter, that's good news. Is there a regular supplier of Speakerlink cables or is it just a case of waiting for a set to come up on Ebay? To be honest I didn't really understand what you meant about the aesthetic aspect though.
A PM to Steve at Sounds Heavenly should sort it out! Alternatively look

  • Re: beocentre 2200 speaker upgrade

Hello and welcome to Beoworld! What are the speakers that came woth the Beocenter? As far as I know your existing speaker cables should work fine with the redlines. Almost any of the range (except possibly the RL35) would meet your needs. Some models suffer from foam rot in the woofers, but age/condition and price aree as imoortant as the specific model

  • Re: Amp for RL140?
My girlfriend would kill me if I did something like that !!!
I would end up sleeping in the spare bedroom with the redlines for company!

  • Re: Beogram 7000- advice on new stylus

If you read this thread it covers the options more comprehensively than I could. http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/24240.aspx I think in your position I would buy an SMMC4 from Soundsmith. If you are only going to be an occasional vinyl user it may well be all you need and, by all accounts, it will sound better than the original MMC4. An SMMC2 will

  • Re: Amp for RL140?

According to Beocentral there wasn't really a matching amp for these speakers when released as the Beomaster 8000 had just been discontinued. I suspect the combination will sound fine, remember that for average listing you will be using 2-3W at most so in a bedroom there is no need for a really powerful amp asyou will never go loud enough to need

  • Re: flatscreen televisions ver picturetube televisions picture quality
Have you ever thought that most broadcasters can't 'afford' or justify moving to HD, because so many people are still using CRTs? Who breaks this cycle? Sky had 1 million HD customers, but it's still only a small fraction of the number of TV sets in the UK. I doubt broadcasters would ditch SD and move
