I have posted this thread on the vintage products site - but as the Beo4 control is not yet 25 years old am trying to see if I can obtain a response here! Does anyone know what shift controls on a BEO4 ? In one of my manuals for the BEO4 in the Lexicon section (page 14) it states " Shift is for operating certain functions relating to other recent

Can't think of a solution to the first question you pose. The CD50 had display features that were excluded from the later CD players - the Master Control Panel for the 5500 and 6500 plus the Beolink 7000 took on that role. You should be able to connect it up to the Aux input and provided it has a 7 pin datalink then I do believe it should work on

Does anyone know what shift controls on a BEO4 ? In my manual it states " Shift (in section Lexicon - page 14) is for operating certain functions relating to other recent B&O remote controls. Press 0, 3, 6, 7 or 9 to do so. For B&O professionals only." Shift Radio 6 and Shift Radio 7 control the MCL2AV - but what do 0, 3 and 9 do?

Dear Robot, If I can find a black CD cube you will be the first to have one! Surely a really clever robot would keep the most desirable przie for itself!

Do you mean that the draw is all over and we are still here waiting. This seems a bit like the ITV phone in competitions!

No the SC 80 and SC 80-2 were available for the European market. I have a catalogue picked up in Germany which lists both. I also have a UK catalogue that lists these. Sadly I cannot find a price list (yet!).

MCL82 was designed to work with equipment from '82 to about '85 - such as the Beocentre 7007, 7700 or Beosystem 5000. It will not work with a Beolink 1000. You would need an MCL 2A . See the product listing on this site and you should pick up the following: MCL 2A Standing for Master Control Link , this system allowed for the main music and
