• Re: Mastlink Gateway

The Masterlink Gateway does exactly what it says on the box, it converts Beolink sources and commands to a device connected to either the RS232 port or over the Ethernet connection and takes commands from the RS232 or Ethernet port and via macros setup in the Gateway triggers Beolink commands. This product is not made by B&O. The Gateway implements

• Re: Connect ML Cable to RJ45

If you mean by your question you want to change just the wall socket to RJ45 and still use it for Masterlink, then your first problem will be the number of connections. Masterlink requires 9 wires plus ground connection. If you mean you want to use the Masterlink cable for the transmission of Ethernet signals instead of Masterlink, then you are likely
As I recall, the earliest version of the Apple Remote PUC on the BeoSystem 1 had issues with the scrolling from holding down buttons. However, the current Apple Remote PUC on the BeoSystem 3 works quite well.
You are correct.. it is because Apple uses NEC protocol and when you did a repeat function it should just
• Re: Control Apple TV 160GB

As a general statement it should always be better to use the PUC to control Set Top Boxes and other units and is essential if you want the box hidden out of sight. Where it is a product that is not directly linked to an audio or video product then direct control is usually the only way to control the product because it will not/should not be in the
• Re: Beo5 configuration question on channel screens

If I have understood you problem correctly, then I would say it should work. To be sure I created a configuration as you have described yours and it works for me. So, that leaves me to conclude that either You are not running the current version of the configuration tool version 3.87 You have deleted one or more buttons in the process of creating your
• Re: Configuration lost

I am very pleased that you managed to recover your configuration...
• Re: Having an odd ML problem....

Your problem sounds like an earthing issue to me. The shield of the Masterlink connector (the metal strip either side on the plug itself) is connected to the 3 screens within the Masterlink cable. If you look at either side of each Masterlink plug you should see lots of marks where it makes connection to the socket ground pins when plugged in, however
