Not sure how you would go about doing that to be honest - USB won't supply enough power, and you would need to figure out the format in which data is carried...

No, but the chassis is entirely new (just like the mk3 7-40"), and will form the basis of other TVs in the range.

It's worth noting that the updated BeoVision 7-32 is a completely different television inside so you can expect the performance to be as different as the internals. Why would you want to buy a BeoSystem 3 + 32" plasma screen? This would be more than the cost of a BeoVision 7-32 (updated) without the DVD player built in by quite a considerable

As far as cabling goes, your safest bet is '8/8' PowerLink, which arguably does yield sonic improvements (I know there are those that will try to debunk the 'cable myth' and I used to be one of them). Try and play with positioning. BeoLab 9s (like the other speakers with Acoustic Lenses) behave completely differently to other loudspeakers

What exactly isn't doing it for you?
Okay. I'm now convinced that the BeoSound 5 has something seriously against Olivia Newton-John. Mine has refused to play anything after "Please Mister, Please."
I personally would see that as a feature
