2. you have possibilities to get picture to link tv sets (not easy with converter and external BD it cost the same total as build in)
Which judder. Watch a Blu-ray on a link room TV and the picture quality isn't great - it misses frames. The link system doesn't send digital data, so it's not going to
I can rip Blu Ray from the PS3 to the Mac, then use Apple tv buti'm back to only 720p again!
And no HD audio. Blu-ray isn't all about the picture you know. You can get nearly as good picture from 720p and/or a HD movie through Sky. Half the reason for owning a Blu-ray is the uncompressed/HD audio you get

I created a separate thread for Beocom 5 issues. No-one used it :) The *only* problem I have at this point is that conference calls on my Beocom 5 are less effective than they once were. I hardly can hear the other caller(s). No idea why this has changed. There's no volume on the speaker, from what I can determine? Never tried pstn/voip. Don't
+ PLUS + Excellent BluRay picture & sound.
How does your Blu-ray player decode the audio on a DTS-HD Blu-ray? Surely it just uses the standard Dolby 5.1 stream which is what you'd get on the SD DVD or downloadable movie.

You'd be much better buying an external player or, better
4) BEOMASTER5/BEOSOUND5: These products can still be improved by software updates, but they have several issues. I don’t want to go into details (discussed in a specific forum), but among other things I would list the following:
According to a lot of BM/BS5 owners, it's been a success :) However, I
Thanks for pointing out the obvious Moxxey, that nobody said they were a bad idea.
A nice slap on the back hey Razlaw. Such a lovely bloke. I made the point that the approach wasn't great, not that the videos were poor/bad/incorrect.
-
I agree. I think the videos are excellent. As you said, they are about emotion, not the products. They are about being passionate about something.
No-one said they are a bad idea, just that we need more everyday people, everyday uses for B&O kit. Show average people getting the most from their kit. Not stories
-
Actually the videos/stories have nothing to do with Bang & Olufsen products. The idea is more about a emotion. How that converts into buying customers is beyond me. Nice stories though.
"W hich is why Bang & Olufsen has joined forces with artists and visionaries, who have rich stories to tell. "
