I wonder if someone has already got there before you Lee and shot this "review" out of the water. Scroll to the bottom and you'll see they are "no longer accepting comments on this article"

So what's the most frustrating & annoying part then? For me it is answering questions, the answers to which (if the prospective buyer had bothered reading) are alrerady there in the description. Drives me mad!!!! Chris.

If it is simply dried lube (which is highly likely) then you really need to disassemble the mechansim & remove the old stuff before relubing & assembling. If you don't then the fault is likely to return in the near future. I've attached a photo of the points which need attention. Silicon grease is your best option.

Member Dillen (Martin) supplies belt kits for many item such as beograms & beocords but I'm not sure if he has what you need. I would try him any way. I would imagine it would be a fairly standard item which B&O may still stock. Chris.

Any tangential after the 8002 (3000 up to 7000) are pretty much the same basic deck, some have RIAA fitted & some don't. Everything else is purely cosmetic. Chris.

All you need is a M5 flat head set screw/bolt & stick a rubber or felt pad to the head. Screw it into the bottom hole of the metal plate that surrounds the square hole where the cables enter the speakers - job done. Chris.
