  • Re: beocenter 2 and hdmi

Can't help on the price but the new steel look is for me the finish I would go for. We saw it in the factory, it has a less bright aluminium look to it and more old polished steel metal look verging on polished pewter. A very cool look IMHO.

Not sure but I think it's so you can find it in the dark? Anyway you can switch it off in the settings menu.

  • Re: New Manual!

9 LEE: Can i just add what a fantastic job Peter is doing on the manuals. Without even being asked he went out and bought an A3 scanner so he could upload the rarer and larger user and service manuals for us all. He is spending a lot of time doing this, and i am sure we all appreciate the fact that he is making BeoWorld even better behind the scenes

Yes we did, from memory it takes a week to reproduce a 15 a day 10 year habit. Originaly used for CRT's to see if the smoke could get in behind the glass contrast screen but now to see if the negative pressure of the cooling fans causes any problems with the flat panels. Interestingly the products are tested to work in humidity, so unlike some manufacturers

  • Re: Phones and beer resistiveness

I have found that after droping my mobile numerous times into dishwashers the trick is to remove the battery asap and just let it dry out naturaly. Not tried it with a Serene though

  • Re: A couple of photos

I can confirm that this a purely serious trip and the only thing to pass our lips was a little bread dipped in tepid water The Tumble drier for those who hadn't guessed is the prototype for the Beolab 5 the Grandaddy of all the Beolab 5's out there, sad just sitting there in a corner, why they changed the look is beyond me
