  • Re: Beocord 9000

There are bargains to be had. A friend bought a working Beogram 4000 with good MMC20CL for £20. But not on eBay!

  • Re: Advice on System Setup

A perfectly reasonable suggestion but why complicate things? I would use the Beocenter 7700 and S45-2 speakers but I would attach a second record player to the 7700 Aux input via a decent variable RIAA which would give line output. I would also get a Beogram 1000 rather than the model you mention. It will cost much less but will play 78rpm records,

  • Re: Problem with Terminal 5000

I would guess one of the buttons may be sticking on. I would completely take it apart and clean it.

A little mean I think. The 9000 is relatively rare and is a very complex tape recorder with excellent performance. I would suggest that a perfect one could easily reach £150 and more if boxed. Extra value adding accessories would include the azimuth aligning tape and tape head cleaning set as well as the original manuals.

  • Re: Serenata - music list is empty

How are you loading the music? I seem to remember that when playing with this device, one needed to load the files into a sub file first.

  • Re: Beomaster 2000

Unfortunately not. B&O threw away all the trim items for this era of product some years ago. Your choices are limited to finding a donor unit or repairing what you have. Someone may have a donor unit on site.

  • Re: B&O 1800 turntable problem

Check the connections. If using a DIN plug, the wires may be loose inside. There is a muting circuit so I suppose that this might be faulty but I would suspect the connections first.

Sounds like it needs new belts. Very common problem. Martin (Dillen on site) can supply new ones.

  • Re: Emergency. Emergency. beocome2

Not completely sure what the problem is but I will guess. The first Beocom 2s had their own base and did not work with a normal Beoline. They can however be modified to do so but you will need to see your dealer to get this done. It requires new hardware in the phone.

  • Re: beocom 6000 woes

Sounds like you need some new batteries. I would check the contacts on the phone for corrosion first if they have not been used for a while. Otherwise, just replace the batteries. They seem not to tricky to find - I did a quick search and immediately found this .
