  • Re: A short OLED LG review(flatpanelshd)

The problem for B&O is that plasma tvs they were selling for £13500 8 years ago, can now be picked up for £2000. Who would want to spend £2000 on a non HD tv especially considering how good the cheap stuff is becoming. This isnt B&O fault or anything but considering how good OLED could be very shortly, a Beovision 7-55 could

  • A short OLED LG review(flatpanelshd)

AN interesting review of a test LG OLED tv yet to go into full production. To be honest i know there are lots of articles and opinions knocking about, but it is done by flatpanelshd.com, who are clearly B&O fans but are also very professional. http://www.flatpanelshd.com/review.php?subaction=showfull&id=1289487180

  • Re: The BeoSound 8 - Live Review!!!

This lack of radio thing is driving me mad. If you have wireless then you listen to the radio through the "tune in" radio app. Any station around the world. Much more useful than a tuner.

  • Re: Saw a pic today!! BS8

I think if one of the great engineers like Brunel had seen any of the B&O cd players he would have been very impressed. Had he they then been shown what an Iphone is capable of they would have simply not believed it. Life and technology has moved on. Had the Beosound 8 been out 5 years ago it might be one of THE modern classics and B&O a much

  • Re: BeoVision 8, BeoVision 10 or BeoVision 7 with 40'' screen

To me a B&O tv has to be the complete package. Every time i go through this selection in my head i always end up looking and coveting the 7. Its not just the screen but how its presented, and with its speaker. The 8 looks cheap(£4000 gets you ALOT of competition) and from what i hear from a used B&O retailer, underneath its as cheap aswell

As its about 2 years late, leaking photos 2 weeks can only be a good thing.

If the amateur shambles that was the Beovision 10 launch is anything to go by, if i was B&O i wouldn't worry too much :-/

  • Ipod dock

I had a phone call a day ago from a dealer asking if i wanted a B&O Ipod dock and speaker. It is expected to arrive mid November and cost £850. Comes in black and white. For that price it really has to be twice as a good as say a Zeppelin.
