Test CD's can be bought several places but if you want the correct one(s) as referred to in the service manual you will have to ask your B&O parts dealer. The original B&O CD's (actually Philips) are quite costly, I seem to remember in the 200£ range. Martin

Now, two new 22uF 400V electrolytic capacitors have been hidden away below decks. I found a nice "isolated" spot where they could be fitted, held by a cable strap, and their leads wired to where the original caps leads went. I doubt the one on Thogersens website has the correct speaker cloth, it makes the whole thing look strange, I think. I saw a couple of Master 38K's and they were all like the one picture in the first post of this thread. That includes my own. B&O did experiment with patterns and figures but it was on a limited number of models, the Master 43K

Welcome to Beoworld and thanks for signing up as a silver member, your support is greatly appreciated ! Your Beogram will need a new belt. You're right in assuming that the belts tension keeps the idler wheel in contact with the motor pulley. To confirm this, you can simply cut out 10-15mm of the length of the old belt and glue the ends back together

Hi Brian, Welcome to Beoworld ! The automatic position will turn on the motor and rotate the platter for cleaning records. For playing a record, you will have to choose the correct size (7, 10 or 12) and press LIFT (which, in case the lettering has worn off or the alu bright is missing, is the center button, between the two size setting prongs).
