Why? I have a Sky+ box attached to my Avant DVD - it is the Phillips DVD type - and I can control the Sky+ box in all my link rooms with the Avant off. What are you wanting to do?

I have seen blue and grey but not red. My 5000s are grey as are my 3000s. Red would be quite fun though!!

soundproof: These ridiculous discussions, Razlaw, are one of the reasons why I'm spending less time on BeoWorld these days. You seem on a mission to fill every thread with your point-of-view on this issue. I'm kind of going with 355f's on this one - great that it's got the ooomph, put it in the spec's - and that doesn't make

The central buttons are all active and are used for fast forwarding and rewinding in conjunction with the GO button. Just play with it and you will find all sorts of commands! In my view, Sky+ works almost as if it were a B&O product with the Beo4 and STB-C. Also works in all the link rooms - thoroughly fantastic! The Pace version is the best -

The C40 is indeed very similar in looks to a CX50. However they have more expensive drive units and a more complicated cross over (not difficult !) They also are constructed to have a Log Line layout so that there is a rear facing port which boosts the bass - though the effect is such that the performance of the CX50 which is a simple sealed box design
