Take a closer look inside first. Last summer I bought a Beomaster 4400, which also had one non-working slider. In this case, the actual potentiometer had moved out of place (it's just clipped there), and the fork of the slider didn't reach it. If the 3000 is similar, you might have an easy fix I'm sure spare parts aren't available new

On paper, the Cona doesn't go any lower than the Pentas themselves, so I wonder if it can do any better than just cranking 40-150 Hz up in an equalizer... Maybe it is more linear at high volumes due to the larger driver, but on the other hand, the Pentas have eight of them.

Not much special radiogram expertise around I'm afraid - but the bits and pieces separately, i.e Beogram 1000 and Beomaster 900 are both quite common and not too hard to work on, you'll find lots of discussion on them around the forum. I'd want the original speakers to be in good condition, everything else is probably fixable - and if not
