My socket has 7 pins, don't know if they are all connected, and it says type 2901 badged 2400

Mine must be the 2400 then as it doesn't have an extra socket. Must get that fixed one of these days.. Was the newer one badged 2400-2?

Sorry to sound simple, but what's the difference between a 2400 and a 2400-2 apart from production date? The product page didn't help much. Andy T.
