Yes the Digital out for a decent sound setup makes it worthwhile, although other players have Digital out as well. The DVD1's Coax connections mean no extra powered convertors etc, etc.

The video is similar to a VX7000 so that may help or use the scart to add another one?

Become a Silver or Gold member and then all the manuals are available for download.

Hi, does anyone have a blue one of these they don't mind getting rid of? I don't mind buying it or swapping it for a spare Silver one I have. Cheers GUY

If I can't see the time on it in the dark, there isn't much point of having it as an alarm clock. In the daylight I have, watch, clock, phone and other electrical items that show the time. An alarm clock needs to be visible in the dark, even if faintly (the preferred option!) :-( Otherwise just another remote control to use.

If you have the Dolby card in the Avant (I have a spare one if you don't) you could plug the Penta's in there (as I have). It's then just a case of connecting the 4500 to the Avant, I'm not sure if the 4500 has a ML connection. Then just set the Options so that it always plays through the TV route.

I'd be interested in the cabinet................

Hi all, Does anyone have a spare stand for a BeoVision / BeoCentre 1? Needs to be either the desk or floor version, so not the wall or the 8ft one please. ;-) I'm in the UK, North East Surrey but do get around the country a bit. Cheers GUY

Ok, So I admit to being a bit crap when trying to use Picture in Picture and have never had it working with a Beo4. Does it work usig a Beo4? I can test this with an AV9000 or a MX4000. Cheers P.S. If anyone has a PiP module for an Avant I would be very interested.
