The problem is not only present in the wed thread, In this post I only see that I am only at bronze level. It is a bit confusing.
-
I upgraded from bronze to gold a couple of days ago, in my "main page", I can see that I am a gold member, but in my current posts I am listed as a bronze member. What is happening? -Søren Hammer

They are largely identical, the only difference is that the 7000 has a built-in RIAA preamp so it can be connected as a line-level source.

That is quite an achievement for an iPod dock at that price! Congratulations to B&O for remaking the sucess of Beocenter 2500, Beomaster 900 and Beogram 4000!

I have never seen such a cool remote before!

I'd go with a 4400, as I think that the alu fascia better matches the Beogram 4000. It delivers a wealthy 75 watts in 4 ohms, has accurate sound shaping options, a nice FM radio and options for two tape decks. The 4400 is basically a developed version of the 4000, the difference isn't that big at all

Glad to know that you are okay after those awful events, and a nice colour for a BL4000 I have moved my Beomaster 4400 to the secondary system as a "preamplifier" for the Beogram 4002, playing Boston's self titled recod in special US import picture disc that I found at a record store yesterday in Copenhagen.

For reviving this thread: I have some Philips contact cleaner in a spray can, standard stuff from the 80's. Can that be used to clean the faders/pots? should i buy some "fader lube" for refreshing the faders? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Caig-Deoxit-Fader-Lube-Potentiometer-Cleaner-14g-/380180866806?pt=UK_Consumer_Professional_RL&hash=item58848ba6f6#ht_1750wt_970

I have just got my Beomaster 4400 back in busyness! So... Wondering if I should do something with it and split my current systems up. I could make a pure retro system with Beogram 4002 and Beogram 4000 with S-75's and maybe one of my Beocord 9000's, or... I could simply replace the Beomaster 8000 in my bedroom with the 4400. So what do you think
