New York is a magical place! I have visited twice once before 9/11 and a few years after! If you fancy it visit ground zero, the hairs stood up on the back of my neck when I saw the twisted cross that was made from rsj's. if you dont have a transfer to the city it will be about $50 but agree on this beforehand as they try to charge you loads! There
If you are looking at spending upto £500 I would go for a Avant RF 32", If you are looking at spending £1,000 to £2,000 personally I would recommend a BV-5 (non HD), If you got between £2,000 and £4,000ish, then I'd try finding a BV-5 HD, And if you got between £5,000
-
My choice would be an avant ( I have one) or a bv5 if your living room can take one( they are a big set)

Cheers for the advice, I dont fancy using an expensive pair of "labs" as rears as they don't do a great deal! Hence my thoughts about the smaller passive speakers, I assume that if I play a cd it will only use the pentas?

extremely hard to lift by yourself but not to bad with a mate!
Did the relisted auctiuon have a 99p start, I thought it did. Just looked and it is now at £25.00. Craig
yes it did! I bidded on it and then cancelled my bid after seeking advice from ebay!

To be honest, I think you may struggle to get that much for a crt now! I have seen 32" dvd avant sell for less on ebay, but you have to think that £1000 for a £12000 tv is a brilliant saving anyway!!
