A superb looking system but not the best sounding one ever made and rather complex but having said that , I would love one! Yes the cartridges from soundsmith are expensive but they are very good. For any bits needed contact Dillen on here (thats his user name). If anyone can supply drivers, it will be him

Personally, I think you would have to go a long way to beat a B&O CDX. They really do sound great.

A friend of mine uses a pair of Tannoys (Lancasters I think) with 12inch dual concentrics and he loves them. When ever I go round and listen to them, at first to me they sound horrible but after a couple of minutes they seem very good. Nice and natural sounds. I was wondering if anyone on here uses Tannoys with any B&O equipment. I did have a pair

Looking at the brochures on site here, it says that the Beolab 5000 should be on top of the Beomaster tuner. Is this correct? It makes sense to have it that way round for cooling but lots of people have it the other way for the looks. Also in the brochure for for 68 or 67 (which ever one it is on site) it states that the Beolit 500 was not available

Many thanks Frede. I will order a bulb soon and get it fitted.

I would like to change the bulb in the power light on my Beolab 5000 amp. How easy is this to get at? Do you get to it from the top, bottom or front. Thanks,

I still need to rationalise so my 3400 system is for sale. It is in good condition and all works fine. I have just changed a bulb in the Beomaster and now they all work. The rest of the bulb kit will be supplied with it. It is a really nice sounding system but I dont have the room for it really so I am offering it to members on here before it goes on

If any one wants something similar to this, I am selling my 3400 system (at a nice price!). Have a look in the for sale section.

Very nice indeed. I have a 3400 and a bulb kit from Martin waiting to be fitted when I get round to it. I think I prefer the 2000 to the 3400 though. I like the contrasting colours and the all white ones look stunning.

Peter, how did you get the sliders so clean on yours. Mine are slightly yellow - is this cleanable. I do have a BM3000 which has perfect ones, is it possible to swap them over if I fancy it?
