As the AV9000 is dated with Dolby pro logic I , 4:3 and vhs these days what would you recommend to do surround? Is it worth it going for Beolab 6000 and 8000 or maybe some of the newer Beolabs? Well to me any B&O unit that can be controlled with a remote must at least have one otherwise its incomplete. The beosystem 6500 came with the Beo4 MKII. That does not control all of it so I got the Master Control Panel which is cool but I don't use it much and it stays on top of the system. For everyday use I only need the Beo4MKII.
