Well I got a few hours spare today and stripped it down. As suspected, there's a space where a panel would fit in at the top right, in a holder above the main board, and a valve-style socket that currently has a shorting piece in. This is clearly the space where the stereo decoder would go, and so I now know I definitely need one - any offers? What
