You want to use it as a computer monitor? I'm pretty sure that the only way it can be turned on is by remote and it recieves the remote IR commands VIA the BeoSystem engine. Sorry.

Oh no! Does the machine now work again? It doesn't sound promising to be honest with you, mate... DVD1 was the most disappointing piece i've bought, not very B&O at all - in how it was built or with its longevity.

Always LOVELY to see a Bc2300 on the wall with the BL2500

If the B&O tv or system has CTRL output, then yes it can still be operated by remote. DVD1 receives remote commands via one of the scart pins, OR, the CTRL connector (found on systems like BeoSystem 1,2 & 3) It can be operated via the close up panel in any setup, but fuctions would be very limited.

I'd love to get some feedback from those who have owned Serenata, and what they thought of it up until now; good experience, or bad experience?? Do you still own it and use it everyday? Thanks!
No timers in the BV10 - if I had not had the BC2, I would have had to pull out one of my older systems as my avant used to act as the master. Incredible decision.
Or you could use a beotime.
