Anyone got an idea as to why it would just keep scrolling looking for a station but not locking in on one? There is an ariel connected to FM socket. Jonnie

I am trying to register a com 2 I have had for a while in a drawer. It is fully charged and I have reset the handset. It is asking for a PIN code. I have not set a PIN for it in the past. I have tried 0000, 9999 and 1111 but all I get is 'base reg is not possible'. Any ideas welcome. To add, the phone was working perfectly whenI was using it
