They did provide bullet-proof solutions back in the BeoGram-days. Today I have a BeoSystem 3-based tv that switches off when it feels like it, that can't handle the power on/off for the STB when connected via HDMI - and the built-in BeoMedia 1 is way too slow and fragile if you load it up with your CD-collection. And it is all software related.

Looks a lot like the one found the R8 as well:

I do think that B&O will have to convince existing customers that the price is fair. Back in 2004 they introduced the BeoCenter 2 which was supposed to be, among other things, a fine way of operating N.MUSIC and N.RADIO. I guess it is fair to say that B&O gave up on the user interface with this product vs BeoMedia 1. And the BeoMedia 1 was supposed

But these corrections are for the Service Tool Mark II - to make it work smoother. To add to the info you provided: ServiceTool MK2. span.TextColor7 { color:#0000FF; } span.DefaultParagraphFont { } div.BodyText { font-family:'Verdana'; font-size:9pt; } div.Normal { font-family:'Times New Roman'; font-size:10pt; } table.TableNormal { } ins {color:blue

Please note that sw 4.24a is the 'current' release for BeoSystem 3. Software 5.2.4, 5.2.5 and 5.2.6 are versions for the Service Tool (mk2) - and that 5.2.5 never was released and 5.2.6 was released September 18th. Most here are looking for a fix for BeoSystem 3, and not the Service Tool itself. Roger

Hi, Sorry for the late reply, but here you go: HD ready kit - DVI 4368 (type no) 1436800 (part no) 290 (approx price €) HD ready kit - VGA/YPbPr 4369 1436900 190 Roger

They seem to (still) be available from B&O, so I would give your dealer a call and check. Roger

Like a tv sat on a narrow stage, which is why they designed it so that the screen continues all the way down to floor of the stage. This is a design that will grow on you. Roger

Tricky. It seems as if you have the BeoSystem 2 MK ll 941x (?), but with or without DVI: HD-Ready is the best it can offer. You will need the BeoSystem 3 for Full-HD. There are HD-Ready kits (one w/DVI & one w/VGA/YPbPr) available. Roger

But we have heard that the next sw update will sort this out - expected to be released at the same time as the BeoSound 5. Roger
