Hi Chris, I tried today with one mmc4 and one mmc2 that works on a Beogram 5500 without any problems but not on BG6500 same thing very very little sound in the speakers. I tried also to connect to aux input but also with no sound. What you think ?????? Regards Jan

I have succeeded, my Beolab 8000 works again. The error was on stand-by transformer. Have attached a photo from trafon I have opened that you can see that it is burned. For trafon I paid 45 pounds including shipping. Next time when similar errors, we know where to find the error. Regards Jan

I'm not entirely sure, pin code was introduced after year 2003 as the VHS with 28 "does not have a pin code. I believe more that the fault is due to the picture tube is broken. . I sell pre-owned Bang & Olufsen and serve them as best I can and I had many 28 "avant which hade wrong on the picture tube. Regards Jan
