I use CX100's mainly as rear speakers but right now I do use some CX50's as rears till the end of some reno work that's being done in my place. Notable difference and I can't wait till I can get my CX100's back up and running... they're just a fuller sound and slightly more bass. Especially in 'speaker4' mode the difference

Forget the CX50's... Even the cx100's might even be too low power in combo with the Penta's. You'll need a MCL2p or ML/MCL to power them.

I use a Cona as my sub in my setup (5 x CX100). My setup has just been upgraded from an AV7000 to Beosystem1. Yes....I use 4! MCL2p's. One for the front L/R, one for the back L/R one for the center and one dedicated to the cona sub. Last one I did was to strip a battered pair of black cx100's down to the metal and polished them up to better go with my beosystem6500. Worked out real well. There are some pics of them on this forum somewhere.

I agree, The website was posted on this forum a while ago. Now there's and idea for updating the current BS3200. Everyone still loves the design, so it would be easy (and cost effictive) for B&O to finally update it along those lines. I would want one of those to replace my Ouverture..... Still would love to strip my old 80ies beocord5000 deck

Having done the same thing about 10 yrs ago, moving from europe to Montreal. It is indeed a hard decision to make, but turned out better than expected for me. I did sell my full setup before I left, knowing that B&O is available world wide and I didn't want to drag anything along with me. Slowly building up my setup again and enjoying it even
