Ok, so there is no power out from the transformer.........................

My friend just dug out his Beogram 5500, but there is no power in the machine. I have checked and changed the 500ma fuse inside as i did on my Beogram 6500, but still nothing. Any help anyone? Sandy

Thanks for the advice, today i opened up the machine, and poked around a bit. Tried a record and it now stops again!! I have not actually sorted anything but for now i will see how it goes. Regards Sandy.

Now my Beogram 6500 will not stop spinning! Plays records fine and arm returns to "home" position but the turntable will not stop turning.!!! Unless you pull the plug out . It does not start turning though when you plug it back on though. Anyhelp anyone? Regards Sandy
