You might need a Y-cable if uou already have something connected to your aux. Are you sure about this? I have BS3 connected through a Beolink converter to the MCL2AV in a link room. The BM6500 is in a separate room

Hi I guess you connected the Beolink Converter to the MCL2AV using 7pin cable. But how did you connect the BS3 to the Beolink Converter ? Does the BS3 have sockets ? Are you sure its BS3 or something else ?

I dont think it has anything to do with the remote control BEO4 or BL1000. It has to with the SW version of your MX7000. You will get the same menu using beo4 or bl1000. All functions of the bl1000 are present in the beo4.

Well, I just replaced the battery pack of my BL7000 today after 13 years of continuous and flawless service Very easy. I had the pack assembled with 5 Ni-Cd 1000mAh batteries by a local store in Paris for 17€. I then just removed the old pack and soldered the new one in place. And everything works fine.

Mine works. In the link room with the MX4002 I can activate and control all sources in the living room including SAT & V-TAPE

Goood news. I swapped the power supply of the kit. And sound is now OK. Problem resolved.

have'nt bought anaything electrical recently. I still have the problem. In fact I have two X Active Kits and I have interchanged them and still notice the problem. So the problem doesn't seem to comme from the connections. Now when I connect an MX4002 to the kit using the 7pin cable and then I connect the beolab 4500 to the TV powerlink sockets

I have some good news. In fact the MX4002 has an ML socket AND an AUX link socket with a cap. I thought initially the cap could not be removed and that the AUX link socket was deactivated with the presence of the ML socket. I managed to remove the plastic cap and connected the MX4002 to the extra active kit with a simple AUX 7 pin cable. And bingo everything

Hello, I would like to use my MX4002 (with ML socket) in a link room already equiped with Extra Active Kit fed by MCL from my Beosystem 7000. Anyone knows and has tried using a beolink converter to connect the MX4002 to the extra active kit? Any advice will be appreciated.
