I do not use CDs anymore. Even in my car I have been using an Ipod as music source. Connected via the digital interface, the music quality is very good. At home all my music coms from mac/apple TV. The maintenance of a music collection is much easier on PC than in big CD suitcases I only use DVD blueray for watching a video every now and then

Thats good news. Apart from the BL5, I found the BS9000 one of the most appealing B&O products.
-
I also think that B&= should have s. th. similiar to apples remote app. for iphone and iPad. If you have an Ipad for what do you need to purchase BS5 for approx € 4000? You can get a mac mini for € 800 which would do as well

I want ist to be able to read my itunes library. Furthermore, I want to create my own music categories und want to catalogue the music I want and not B&O wants. The BS5 is far to rigid. I also want the BS5 WLAN and ethernet capable.
-
B&O has to accept that in the digital world a audio system has to be open to various standards. I have my music collection on my mac, on my various iPods (Car, flight travel, etc.). A closed system does not fulfill my requirements.

zusammen mit den BL 5 sieht er echt cool aus finde ich. Macht schon was her.

The BS5 did not convince me at all. If B&O would offer a decent digital solution I would definately buy it. But it needs to integrate with Ethernet, WLAN, apple itunes, as well as comprise of a 2-way remote control.

also mir gefällt der silberne Rahmen sehr gut. Finde damit setzt er sich schon von anderen Flat Screens der Konkurrenz ab.
