This thread is (again) quickly derailing, with B&o-bashing all over the place. Stop comparing Apple (a computer manufacturer) with B&o (a high end AV firm). Does Apple make HIFI speakers? Does Apple make beautifull TV's? Does Apple make dedicated soundsystems? The only things Apple did, was copying the circular navigation wheel from B&o

Just looked inside my beocord 7000; also plenty of Samwha cap's, alongside with Philips parts (the long, flat black parts, don't know what the are). Perhaps the Danes did use cheap parts were possible without affecting sound?

@Yachadm: As you described above, cheap Korean material/Elco's can be found inside the BC9300. Do you know if this still is the case in modern B&o equipment? Or have the revived their standards after the cost-cutting in the 90s?

Why ripping in a compression Codec? Why not just in WAV?

Isn't internet-radio-listening by an iPhone limited by the "fair use policy" of your telecom provider? And listening radio wit an iPod is not possible at all, or am I missing something?

Interesting question, mine CD7000 has the same tray-position, and I also looked for an explanation and found that many if not all cd-trays in these models have the same "issue". So I have not the answer on your question, but can confirme it's a much seen issue.

I am considering the purchase of a beovision 3-32. I found out that there were 2 versions; after 2003 called the mark III (?), which included motion compensation. The 28 inch model was fitted with a 50Hz tube. How are your opinions about these two televisions? Is 100Hz without discussion better than it's smaller 50Hz brother?
