• Re: BeoLit 12 is in the shops! Initial impressions?

Our WiFi setup in pretty solid in the showroom and my experience was good. I experienced one brief drop-out over about 5 hours of play. The setup was even easier than what they had described to us earlier this past year and took about a minute from setting it on the desk to streaming music. The sound is spectacular. I think that Russ is right on the

I'm not sure that this sort of information is openly discussed, but many of us knew that Torsten Valeur had been taking a bigger role in many of the DL designs prior to David's passing. I assume that there's a collaborative aspect to all the designs that come out of the studio, but it's probably not going to be clarified to the extent

  • Re: New BeoSound or BeoCenter for 2012 ?

I'm usually not a fan of the designs posted from time to time, but I like the unit you've designed, Tomaz. You're right that there's probably no need for as much hardware in the middle these days, but the screen is a nice touch. A worthy evolution of B&O design DNA.

Now most people have seen high quality images. The next step is to listen to it. Even the pre-production units sounded fanstastic. If we were to put it behind a sheet, turn it up, and then ask how much it should cost I think most people would assume a BeoSound 8 price point and a much larger device. When the BeoSound 8 came out at $999 we all thought
Do we know who designed them? They do not seem to have the same height as the tv?!
They're the same height as another TV.

Wait until you see them in person. I immediately liked them. They have the same character as tall flat BeoLab 4000s. That dealer couldn't have taken a worse picture of them so I'm not surprised by the reactions. They also sound incredible for being so flat. I admit that I'm eagerly awaiting their release in black, though!

Good riddance. The worlds biggest pain in the butt to site terminate and a big banner that reads "INCOMPATIBLE." It'll be nice to exploit all the potentials of RJ45 connectivity.
