Verrry strange looking. It looks a lot like a larger, floorstanding version of the Beolab 7-4 to me. Perhaps this will be a 7-? product, though there is no Beolab 6 or 8, though they could avoid those middle numbers and simply go to 12... I have to agree though, it's not terribly attractive in this picture. :) mike

It was engineered to sound best with the MMC2, but you can certainly get away with using any of the other MMC cartridge as long as you adjust the tracking force. You could use an MMC4 (or the Soundsmith equivalent) and be more than happy! Mike

Below are pictures of my two prized possessions, by Beogram RX (which I've had for 13 years and am looking to sell), and my newer Beogram 5000. Both were serviced expertly by B&O in Toronto. I also have two of the bottle openers, one I use as a keyring. :) I also have better

The B&O systems in Audi's are so fantastic. I don't think they'd add their top-shelf unit to the A3 once it hits produciton though, but you never know. Speaking of the A3 itself, while it's pretty, it's even more derivative than their last generation of cars. Now more than ever Audi's look like small, medium, large &
