I recently bought my mother-in-law a BC2300 w/ Beolab 2500 spkr's, for her Florida home. Aren't I a nice son-in-law! However, she really doesn't have any floor standing shelves, table, or an entertaiment system rack of any kind to place it on. I have investigated and now given up on wall mounting it using either the STB wall mounting system

Thanks Sydney, I will keep my eyes open on eBay and maybe create a few Favorite Searches to help me locate one of these. I guess I will give my local B&O dealer a try as well, just to see what these parts cost new. Many thanks again for the reply. Tom

Hi All, Recenlty purchased a BeoCenter 2300 on eBay for a very reasonable price, but unfortunately it came missing a few minor parts. Was hoping to find someone who may have spares of these or know where I can find them without necessarily having to buy new. If I must purchase new, can anyone provide me the proper part numbers for these things? Here

Graham, This explanation is a great help. And yes, Peter has sent a diagram. This is what I wanted and need to know! Thanks for taking the extra few minutes to make it clear for me. I still can't believe B&O doesn't support this anymore. Best regards, Tom

Peter, Now we are getting somewhere. The attachment was very helpful. Looks like the STB bracket is a bit more robust than the original B&O design, but at least I am getting an understanding of what is required. I'm slow, but I'll eventually get there. I still do not know what an Earsdon is. All the best, Tom

Hi Graham, Ok, so let me get this straight, I need the kit to mount both the Beocenter and the Beolab speakers. Were there several pieces included in this kit or was it just on piece? Do you know the part number for the kit? Was it 2087 or something similar to the number STB uses? Also, just to vent here a bit. How could B&O discontinue the wallmounting
-
Hi Peter, thanks for the response. I did check out the brackets you referenced, but it still doesn't answer my question about what is all required to do this mounting. It would seem to me that the two little hooks shown in this auction are not all that is required. Looks like some parts must be missing. By the way, what does Earsdon mean? Hope all

I know this subject has come up before, as I've searched previous threads, but I am still confused about how to easily and "cheaply" mount a Beocenter 2300 (with Beolab 2500 speakers) or a Beosystem 2500 on a wall. I have looked at the STB bracket website and read about the WB 2087 wall bracket. It looks very nice, but at a cost of 230

Ben, Congratulations on your purchase of Penta's. I too am looking to take the "plunge". Sounds like you might be in the UK, as I reside in the states. As was stated in a post to this thread, there are Penta's of every variety (1's, 2's & 3's) and in every quality level on eBay. If you are lucky, you can find a pair

Hi All, Don't know if any of you have seen it but there is an interesting article in this weeks issue of Business Week magazine. The link to the article is http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/07_45/b4057057.htm?chan=search If you can't get to it, I can gladly get an electronic copy to Peter who can then disseminate it the best way possible
