Thanks for the replies. Simon, strange coincidence-just after reading your post I touched the BS3 and got a strange tingling on my finger when I moved it across the top panel. Is this what you mean by a shock? it feels weird. Doesn't happen when unplugged. What is the cause of this and can it be fixed? Hope I don't have to have it sent away

Hi, my Beocom 1401 does not remember stored numbers. Any ideas why this should be so? It shares a line with Sky Broadband, but a filter is fitted. Could the dual use of the line be causing the problem? Many thanks, Steve
