  • Re: BeoLab 9 & sub-woofer

you have a nother choise. Sell your BL8000, keep the BL2 and buy a pair of BL3. The BL3 has a better sound in the top than a pair of BL9 and with your sub you also get a better buttom, more powerfull bass. I had a setup like yours, but sold it at got me a pair of BL5 + 4*BL3. Have also lissent alot to BL9 but dident like the sound in the top or midrange

  • Re: BeoLab 9 & sub-woofer

BeoLab 2 delivers a lot more power/ bass than a pair of BeoLab 9, so if you still wants that "kick" when you hear loud music or a film, you will need a subwoofer. If its was me i would keep my BL8000 and the BL2 and forget about BeoLab 9.

I have a pair of BeoLab 5 and i was wondring if any of you have tryed to connect a non B&O record/ LP player directly to the BL5, not trough any B&O stereosystem. How dit it sound, was it as good a sound as a cdplayer or is the BL5 not made for lp record

  • Re: Setup/Cabling question Beolab5 / Beosystem3 / DVD2

I dont think that the BL5 will understand when they shall juse the powerlink ore the digital signal, because they are designet to juse the digital signal when there is one. So the will always take the digital signal also in a dvd`s 5,1 soundtrack.

  • Re: BL5 and non B&O surround processor

You are talking about a new BS3 - but my BS3 is still the "old" one And if B&O have done a big modd. on the BS3 its proberly not just a softwear opgrade but a complet new BS3 i would have tog get the new opgrade

  • Re: BL5 and non B&O surround processor

One of the reasons to selle my BV4 + BS3 is to get a bigger screen but also to get at better surround processor. So its is not in my interest to keep the BS3 and selle the BV4 monitor. Because if it was just a bigger screen i wanted i would just buy a projector

  • BL5 and non B&O surround processor

I have a pair of BeoLab 5 in a surround setup together with 4* BL3 and 1* BL10 together with BeoSysten 3 (BV4-50") but i would like a new plasma proberly the new Pioneer 60" but then i would not have a surround processor. I know that its i possible to connect all my BL3 and BL10 to a non B&O surround processor, but what about BL5. They

Det er ikke en, men to moduler på hver 125W, men hvad de hedder skal jeg ikke kunne sige

  • Surround settings with BeoSystem 3

I have a surround setup with Beolab 5 (front), Beolab 10 (center) and 4* Beolab 3 (rear/surround) and BeoSysten 3, No sub. My problem is that the Beolab 5 are to powerful in the bass and i would like to turn the sub-track down on the Beolab 5, is that in any way possible?
