Hi Graham my plan is to connect the two mcl plugs to the beolink passive and then a powerlink cable (fully wired LOL) from the passive to the 2500 ? as i said upto two month ago i was using a BC9500 then bought the BS2500 but all the link cables are in the walls from using the 9500. as i thought te passive was just another version of the mcl2p?? or

thanks for the advise Vienna but the problem i have is all the cables are plastered into the walls so all i need is a simple amp system that i can use to listen to the radio/cd in the bath (after a hard days graft LOL). Graham, what would the differance be between the fully wired powerlink cables (i thought they were only for the display on the pentas

hi i have just bought a beolink passive and need to use this as an mcl2p or ml/mcl converter would this work?? i have a beosystem 2500 and in my bathroom the old mcl2a xtra speaker kit with the beolink passive transceiver connected but i cant get it switch on? can the newer tranceiver be used instead of the old mcl2a one? cheers mark

Update, i have just bought a beolink passive for my above setup but when reading the manual it says not to use the powerlink socket, so have i wasted my money or is there a way around this?? thanks mark

hi all i need some advise quickly, getting my bathroom tilled tomorrow and just in the process of running some fittings in but what i need to know is, will the newer style link transceiver work inplace of my old mcl2a tranceiver??? (i know it has the same 5 wire colours) i need to know so i can get it wired in tonight. many thanks mark

Thanks, couldnt i just connect these to the beolink converter (or buy more beolink converters and connect each one?) and then control them via the masterlink connection?? i have been trying to contact ridax for a few months over another issue with no luck? if there is no other way of controling my beocord and beogram via the bs9000 then this may not

Hi i am looking to buy my first BS9000 but need to know a few things first? in my bedroom i have a BV MX4000 and VX5000 in my living room (where the 9000 is going) i also want to connect a beocord 4500 and beogram 4500 What i want is to control all of the above via the beo4 and wanted to know if this is possible and what would i need (i think i have

Hi Jonathan you can just use standard ni-cad batteries which you can buy anywhere. The ones on ebay are about £25 which is not expensive? Cheers Mark
