They didn't give you a very good response. Who would want to great HD signal and make it Dolby Digital?

Just checking to see if I've understood everything. True HD is available now but only in 5.1 due to bandwidth issues? DTS-HD is not available now but probably will be? I guess the bandwidth issues are the same. Is this correct?

Hmm. I'm not sure I get it. Should I connect my computer both with analog and digital audio connections? Why is that? What do you mean by DD sound card? The connections on the BV5? Thanks in advance /Felix

That seems like a very good solution. I however, have a DVD1 and a Beosound 9000. Could I set it up the same way except for a splitter in one end? Beosound 9000 S/PDIF > Splitter > in Beolab 5 out > in Beolab 5 out > Beovision 5 S/PDIF input? DVD1 S/PDIF

I have done some experimenting, trying a few things out. I tried connecting my computer directly into the Beolab 5 digital input and it worked. However, I have to change my settings, setting up the Beolab 5 as stand-alone speakers(option 4). What I would like to do is to connect my computer directly to the speakers with S/PDIF. That doesn't really help. It's the audio I'm concerned about, video comes second. I also want my sound connection to be all digital so I don't want plug it in through the camera input.

I have tried cutting the power, restarting the system and I don't seem to have alot of ambient noise since it has worked many times before. Well, I guess I have to make a call to my B&O dealer. Thanks for the help though! Felix
