    So, I have finally ordered the IR-eye. Funny thing though, I got quotes ranging from 50Euros all the way up to 200Euros for the same type.nr depending on which Beo-store I contacted. One would think that they would follow the standard pricelist on accessories too. :-)

    Got this from B&O today: We are pleased to learn that you are the owner of Bang & Olufsen product. As regards the IR sensor for the Beolink PC2 and placement near a plasma screen, we must say that we have not tested this and we must therefore advise to test the placement yourself.   • Plasma protected IR-eye

    Hi, have been in contact with a couple of different stores trying to get a IR-eye for my Lintronic. Due the fact that I have a plasma screen the normal IR receiver in my 238 box doesn't work that well. Apparently a IR/eye type. 8087030 is to be used. According to the stores this is for BeoLink PC/2 use and they have no clue about it being plasma
