I use Nyco as well, it work like a charm.

There is actually no difference in the number of hdmi sockets between mkIII and MKIV, I installed HD turner, thats one hdmi gone, and for blueray playback I put in a PS3, thats another one gone. At the end I am left with only 2 hdmi sockets, same situation as the MKIV. If I were you, I would keep the latest version of BV7-40, I believe all the problems

Has anyone notice the fan making clicking noises after watching BV8 for a few hours?? I might be too sensitive but in a quite room with the volume turn off, the clicking noise from the tv is quite audible. After using it for a day, I am really satisfied with its picture and sound quality, well worth the money, BUT I feel HD is still better on my BV7

My BV8 has arrived today, and so far I am quite happy with this tv I hooked it up with an Apple TV and PS3 both can be controlled by beo4

Man you probably used up your whole year's worth of luck on this one! Show some pics plz~ Let us admire the BS9000 that almost got away~

I have also ordered a BV8-40 to be used as a bedroom tv. arriving mid July, can't wait. one question though, as BV8 doesn't have a BS3 included in the TV, has anyone use the upscale function in PS3 with BV8 when watching DVD?
-
BS9000 is really a iconic product that is why I decided to purchase the limited edition upon hearing the 'rumour', even though I don't have the space for it in my house yet. I was initially going to hold the purchase until I moved into my new place early next year.

moxxey, when you say upgrade your mkIII to mkIV, do you mean just swapping the panel in your old tv to the new one or exchange the whole tv?

In my opinion I will not get beolab 2 with beolab 9s, I have tried it and end up moving the lab 2 up stairs with my other system. Beolab 9s by themselves produce enough bass for any purpose. And I would stick with your original decision, and get beolab 5s instead...
