hello, je viens de voir que free va proposer un dongle usb avec capteur infra-rouge. ça peut simplifier la tâche ; il reste à confirmer les codes de la v6. - scott

hello, i am planning out a future installation, and i ran across this phrase in the rfla manual : "As the new modulator is distributing only internal signals from for instance DVD, satellite etc. on the RF output, it is necessary to combine the modulated signal with the channels from the aerial or cable network by means of the RF Link Amplifier

hi, this subject was one of the big surprises for me after installing my first b&o system a few years ago. i simply had not considered that b&o were transmitting an sd signal with the rf modulator. it surprises me still. i suppose that beonet will solve this problem, but it seems to me that b&o should be able to retransmit a hd signal with

hi, a camarade in the beo mac section suggested that the bv7 might be capable of translating an incoming hdmi signal (e.g. from a mac mini) to an analog signal and distribute it to link rooms. is such a thing possible or has some spell cheated my eyes ? - scott

wow, that's impressive. how do you control the mac mini via beo4, do you have an ir receiver connected to your beoport ? will plex playback work on a link tv as well ? thanks for all the great information ! - scott

hi, i am very intrigued by this : [quote user="elephant"] The approach that Philippe and I are working on is to have LinkPlayer automatically switch the MacMini's audio between digital (HDMI) and analogue (the cable we tried and then removed). This will be the program-driven equivalent of what you and I did yesterday ... change the MacMini's

hi, i think i have understood the technical aspects of the rfla, or at least the basics... i am curious to know how it functions from a user point of view. if i set things up correctly i should get my tv channels and bluray player output (as an example) running down the same cable. but how does it appear to the user. is the bluray player output seen

hello again, this sounds cool. i might pick one up for my bc1 ! do you know if the device will work in conjuction with the rfla ? ie, if have mixed in a signal from the main tv, will i be able to see it as well ? merci milles fois ! scott

hi, the bc6-23 is "hd ready", so i only need a solution that is that good. the decoder looks interesting. do you know if the unit will "fit" in a wall-mounted bc6-23 ? otherwise, i understand that it is seen as av device and can manage the various tv commands (channel, etc...). is this correct ? thanks again ! scott
