You have an email! Happy New Year! Christian

Sorry, seethroughyou , but that is wrong information. The new AAC files (without DRM and at 256 kbps) from iTunes (with .m4a tag names) play great on the BS5 and with BeoPlayer. Album artwork also looks really good on the BS5. Christian

Dear Mark, If you have bought DRM-free iTunes+ music they should show up in BeoPlayer/BeoPort. I buy my music from iTunes and after a quick scan the BeoPlayer displays the music perfectly with correct tags and cover art. I then transfer this to my BS5. No problems. You do not need to convert m4a files to mp3 to get them to work. This will also degrade

Thanks for the reply Rolf. I really hope to get this fixed in the summer, it doesnt work with the BM5 next to the BV9 and tons of cables....

I have a BM5/BS5 connected to my BV9. I was supposed to get it built into the cabinet of my BV9 but my dealer says the kit for this is not available yet and they dont know when it will be ready. I have had my BS5 for a few months now and it is irritating that all the cables and the BM5 box is placed right by my tv. What have other BV9 owners done? Any

Stefan, How did the full-HD test go with you? Anybody else tried it?
-
Let me know how it goes. The BM5 isnt that far off from being a mediacenter. A bigger harddisk and ability to play 1080 HD films in different formats and we are there.....But not the way B&O want us to use the machine apparently...

Mystery of the nile now suddenly worked OK on mine as well. The 1080 movies dont however. The Alexander trailer, Coral Reed Adventure and Rules of Attraction in 1080 either freeze or play and skip with no sound...so mine has a limit at least... Christian

I got SD movies to work. Strange that mind doesnt play HD. Would you (or anyone else with a BM5) mind trying some of the video previews from the site I mentioned above and see if they perform acceptably on your BM5? Thanks Christian

Hi Stefan, Yes have read that thread. Strange that they work so poorly on my BM5. I dowloaded some trailers from Microsofts HD content website http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/musicandvideo/hdvideo/contentshowcase.aspx and they do now work well. Which trailers have you tested? Maybe I can try them on my machine to see if they work.. Christian
